Dear Vaastu Guru.....

Oh I love scanning the daily paper! Today's topic of discussion ... causes of delayed marriages and how Vaastu may assist.......

Parents, desperate to find a groom for their ageing daughter (she IS 25 ya know) turned to The Times of India Vaastu expert Dr Puneet Chawla (wonder what he's a doctor of and where he got his degree?).

Vaastu is a bit like Indian Feng Shui by the looks of it!

Bet the parents are currrently digging up their garden to check the delay for her betrothal ... water tanks indeed!

Call me a cynic .. but what a pile of shit! Perhaps she doesn't like the scrawny dudes they bring home for her to meet, she might, like half the advertised groom/brides in the Matrimonial section of the paper, have a limp or not be sufficiently wheatish in complexion! She might be better suited to life on the Island of Lesbania, perhaps she just doesn't WANT to get married yet, perhaps she wants you to stop meddling in her life!!!

• An aquarium with 9 gold fish and one black fish, in the north east corner/portion of the house or factory is very good.
• If the north-east area is untidy or unshapely, the well being of male issues is found to be precarious.
• Students should be facing east while studying, for Academic Excellence.
• In the office, the owner's desk must always be rectangle
• A house should not have paintings, which depicts depressing scenes, i.e. like an old woman crying, scenes of war or poverty. It should have picture of say, a sunrise, an ocean, mountains, flowers or laughing children.
• If the kitchen is off the proper place, some member or the other is always found to be suffering from severe digestive disorder.
• Person should face the east while cooking.
• Drinking water should be in the north east of the kitchen.
