school field trip - Delhi Meterological Department

I joined Xanthe's class' field trip to the Indian Meterological Department in New Delhi. Unfortunately our guide's Indian accent was so strong and he used such big technical jargon words the kids had no idea what he was on about.

I dunno I expected a meterological station to have far more modern equipment, there wasn't even a sunshine recorder ... maybe it's not necessary .. but we are in India remember! maybe no-one needs a reminder how bloomn hot it gets here .... anyway, here's a few pics of the precise instruments used at the Delhi Weather Station ........
